1-20-2009/ Fire 105 Chapman Rd. Marlbrough, CT

Marlborough Fire Dept. responded to a house fire @2331 hrs on 105 Chapman Road. Home owned by Kenneth Fargnoli 62y/o. Mr. Fargnoli escaped from his home with first and second degree burns. He then went to a neighbor's to report the fire. Fargnoli was taken to Middlesex Clinic and then flown via Lifestar to Bridgeport Hospital Burn Center. Colchester and Glastonbury came to aid in a shuttle operation.

1-7-2009 / MVA Middletown Rd. and Buckley Hill Rd., Colchester, CT

Freezing rain coated Rt. 16 Middletown Rd. in Colchester making for slippery conditions. Colchester Fire Dept. worked for 30 minutes to free the driver. Drivers side was invaded by a tree making for a difficulty extrication.

TOC @ 1827 hrs 63 Lake Shore Dr. Lebanon, CT. Elderly couple forced out of their home by fire which was reported to have started in the garage. 96y/o man was burned and flown out via Lifestar to Bridgeport hospital burn center.
